I have a dear friend who is moving and I wanted to make her a little something as a going away present. She is a mom of five and constantly giving of her time and love to her family and friends. I wanted to make something beautiful and functional that would be just for her.
This little zippered pouch is perfect for those little things that get lost in your purse. You can find the pattern and tutorial here at “Skip to My Lou”. It is a well written tutorial with clear instructions and printable pattern pieces. The only thing I added was the red ribbon bow and trim.
Here is a little peek at the red polka-dot lining….. Love!
And here is the key chain…..
These key chains have been around for a while, but they are still one of my favourite gifts to make. Since they can slip over your wrist, they are the perfect gift for busy Moms with full hands. Also, an added bonus is how easy it is to find the keys in your purse!
You can find the tutorial here over at U-create.
These were both quick and easy projects that were completed in one afternoon.
What is your favourite go-to gift?
Happy Sewing!
