MORE ABOUT ME

I'm Tessie -Welcome home!

About a month ago, we were at church on a Sunday morning and the Bishop of our ward was talking to the children.  The topic was temples and the importance of going to the temple.  Even though our children can not go inside the temple until they are older, he challenged each of them to go to the temple and touch the outside walls.

In the middle of this Sunday lesson, Isaac shout whispered across the room at me, “Can we go to the temple??”  I nodded my head yes and that afternoon we packed a picnic dinner and drove to the temple.

It ended up being one of those perfect sunny days.  Not too hot and not too cold.  We had such a lovely time walking around the grounds and spending time togeether as a family.

The temple is incredibly close to my heart.  It is something that I cherish and revere.  Every time I enter the doors I feel such love and peace.  I have had many prayers answered inside of its holy walls and each time I go it strengthens me and makes me a better person. If you would like to learn more about our temples, why we have them and what they look like inside, I attached this video. I feel like it so perfectly explains my feelings of why I love the temple so very much.

Happy Sunday!
