It’s been almost 3 years to the day since I wrote a prayer in my journal, asking for us to be open to the miracle to finding our house. I’m still amazed on a DAILY basis that we live in this house. THIS HOUSE – the house that we dreamed about. The house that we discussed over Thai food. The place where we could step out our back door and onto the lake. A home where we hope to welcome grandchildren someday. The house that I wanted to fix up. The house that I hope to paint pink someday. Yep, pinch me. It’s ours.

Dream it first then create it
If we want good things to come to us, we have to DREAM it first. It’s only through dreaming and imagining, that we’ll recognize it when it comes our way. It’s through dreaming and creating a vision that our minds get to work on making it a reality. Of course, most dreams take lots of hard work along the way, but we have to be able to imagine how it could be different.
Our homes don’t happen by accident. We have to be intentional with the vision we’re trying to create. This is important work. It doesn’t happen by mistake and it’s easy to put on the back burner and before you know it it’s been years. At the end of your life if you want to look back and say that you had a joyful home then now’s the time to make it a reality.
