It’s cheap, it’s quick, and it can refresh an item to give it instant NEW LIFE!! It had been so long since I had spray-painted something I almost forgot how magical it can be.
Before Spray Paint
Here are three items that recently got a new coat of paint and a fresh life in my home.
First, this fabulous painting with expressive brush strokes and a 70’s vibe.

Second, a mirror with a cornucopia of wooden fruit… strange? Perhaps, but for some reason I was drawn to it 🙂

And third, a pair of lamps from Amazon. They had the exact shape I wanted but the colors didn’t quite mesh with my space.

Like every good spray painting project, it started with a thorough cleaning.

Then I taped everything off with frog tape and computer paper.

Once it was all taped up, it got hauled outside for a fresh coat of spray paint.
After Spray Paint
I added a new lampshade and painted the lamp base antique white. I love how it brightened everything up and really allowed the lampshade to shine.

The mirror got painted antique white and made a nice addition to the overflow guest room.

And lastly, I spray-painted the picture frame a glossy meadow green. I feel like it made the whole painting a bit more fun and lively.
