Being a fabric designer, I have rolls and rolls of fabric and I’ve struggled to find a solution for storing them.
Luckily, my husband came up with the idea to create a giant pegboard in the basement of my studio. I had my doubts at first, but it ended up being the perfect solution!
Before Pegboard for Fabric Storage
The studio basement was super creepy when we first moved in, but after adding lighting and sealing the basement walls, it’s turned into an incredible storage area.
Here’s the main basement wall before we added the pegboard.
This entire project was done by my husband, CJ, so I can’t take any of the credit. Here’s what it looked like as he was starting to add the pegboards.
After Pegboard for Fabric Storage
Once the pegboard was up, I painted it pink and began adding the fabric. Here’s the after!
I love how it got everything off the floor and the fabric is much more accessible! It’s super easy to take down a roll and put it back up.
I even had some extra room for wrapping paper.
It’s been the perfect solution for storing those rolls of fabric!
Fabric GIVEAWAY on Instagram!
To celebrate my new fabric pegboard, I’m giving away 2 fat quarter bundles over on Instagram! I’ll be giving away a fat quarter bundle of my second fabric line “Cora” by Windham Fabrics.
AND… a fat quarter bundle of my debut fabric collection, Pink Lemonade with Windham Fabrics!
